The CrossFit Games North Central Regional starts this weekend and we plan to show up in force to support Jon. The competition takes place at Navy Pier and is amazing to watch live. The top 48 men and women and top 30 teams in the surrounding 11 states will go head to head, with the top three in each category advancing to the world championships in LA later this summer.
Several coaches are competing, judging, or coaching at regionals. In addition, all members are encouraged to attend, watch the athletes compete, and represent The Foundry (please wear your Foundry gear!). If you still need a ticket, you can purchase one here. Jon’s heats are expected to go around 11am and 4:30pm Friday.
The gym schedule will be as follows:

The Foundry – Printers Row CrossFit is a premier CrossFit gym in downtown Chicago. We are located just two miles from the Navy Pier competition venue. We welcome regionals athletes and coaches to drop in before and during the games.
Best of luck Jon!
canceling 5:30 on Friday is not cool.
Makes sense if Jon’s heat doesn’t start on time, which could happen.
What makes sense? Shutting down an entire business (with 3 days notice) for an outside of gym event that not everyone from the gym is going to take off work to attend? That’s not how I would do business…but then again, maybe that’s why I don’t own one.
Anyone know if Saturday is sold out? My friend is trying to get a ticket and the order won’t go through
Did you try the link in the post? It’s showing available still. If that doesn’t work I’m sure it would be possible to buy at the door.
Gym will be back open at 6 if you want to come work on some things.
After today tickets have to be purchased at the door, I believe.
Thank you. I really do appreciate that.
