The Foundry is a world-class health & performance training facility located in downtown Chicago.

After years of researching health and fitness, learning from experts in various fields, and testing on ourselves and our clients, we chose CrossFit as our training methodology and downtown Chicago as our location.

Printers Row CrossFit is a CrossFit affiliate.

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a fitness program designed around the things you do in the real world. Every day, we ask our bodies to move in countless different ways. We bend down and pick things up, we put things over our heads, squat down, stand up, and run after the bus or chase down a cab. CrossFit utilizes movements from weightlifting, gymnastics, and sports conditioning that improve these real-life activities and performs them in endless variety and at high intensity. In turn, your body is always adapting, getting stronger, faster, better conditioned over a period of months and years.

CrossFit develops both fitness as well as skill which takes time and practice to master.  It was designed to develop both physiological as well as neuromuscular abilities, which means it can improve anything from playing with your kids to performing sports at an elite level.

Why Printers Row CrossFit?

Our CrossFit program is designed by our senior coaches. We take a broad view, looking several months into the future to design a program that will promote continuous progress over a long period of time while maintaining a high level of safety. Our training facility was custom designed and set up to support a huge variety of workouts and contains an unparalleled array of training equipment.
